About our large holiday home in Wiviliscombe
Nestled on the edge of Wiveliscombe, this charming stone cottage blends luxury with the comfort of home. Sharpe Cottage accommodates up to 8 guests across its four individually styled bedrooms, large and fully equipped kitchen, and cosy but spacious lounge.
Perfect for families and groups, our large holiday home is a dog-friendly cottage is ideally located for exploring Somerset’s countryside and local attractions. Whether it’s a family celebration or a tranquil retreat, Sharpe Cottage promises an unforgettable stay where luxury meets the warmth of home.
Every aspect of Sharpe Cottage has been thoughtfully curated to provide a ‘home away from home’ experience. From the luxury bedding made from 600-thread Egyptian Cotton to the soft-as-down duvets and pillows (each guest has one medium and one medium-soft pillow!), every detail has been chosen for ultimate comfort.
The inclusion of a hairdryer in each room, Egyptian cotton towels and a generous welcome basket all contribute to ensuring guests are as comfortable as possible.
The cottage is dog-friendly, with an enclosed garden and numerous walking paths nearby.

The large kitchen in Sharpe Cottage is a delight for those who like to cook, fully equipped with modern appliances, including an Aga and electric hob, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine.
For those lazy breakfasts, sit down at the large kitchen table, cosy and warm beside the Aga, or in fine weather wander out the kitchen door to the lovely patio to drink your tea or coffee, while listening to the birds.
The Dining Room
Adjacent to the kitchen, the separate dining room offers an elegant setting for meals, whether it’s a hearty breakfast to start the day or a sumptuous dinner to end it. The study, a versatile room, is stocked with reading material and board games, offering a quiet corner for work or leisure.
Lounge
The heart of this large holiday home lies in its spacious lounge, complete with a wood burner, big comfortable sofas, Smart TV, lots of games and above all a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to gather and relax.

The master suite in Sharpe Cottage is a haven of relaxation, boasting a king-size bed and a private en suite, providing a luxurious and private space for rejuvenation.

In addition to the Master bedroom, this large holiday home has two additional double bedrooms (one downstairs) offer cosy and inviting spaces for rest, while the twin bedroom, with its two single beds, is perfect for children or singles. Each room reflects a commitment to comfort and style, ensuring every guest a peaceful night’s sleep.
The family bathroom, elegantly appointed with a bath and a rain head shower, and a convenient downstairs WC, caters to the needs of all guests, providing both luxury and practicality.
Little surprises await our guests, which we hope will encourage our guests to relax and feel at home immediately.

The newly landscaped enclosed garden is a slice of paradise. It features a large patio adorned with luxury garden furniture to comfortably sit eight people, set within a pretty garden, offering a picturesque setting for outdoor relaxation or socializing. Whether it’s enjoying a morning coffee in the tranquility of the garden or hosting a lively barbecue, the outdoor space at Sharpe Cottage is designed for enjoyment and relaxation.
Sharpe Cottage offers private parking for up to three cars. An additional convenience is the free public car park located just 200 meters up the road, ensuring that guests never have to worry about parking space.
